Simultaneous Double

Phil’s Double doubleRegular Marshsider Phil has done it again by landing two double figure carp from Homershams at the same time. Both rods went together and he managed to get both fish to the bank and with a little help from baliff Adrian, they got them both in the net at the same time. Well done Phil - all you need now is the 35lb’er that’s in there and you’ll have the full set.

Liam’s 23lb Common

It’s been a pretty good week at both lakes with good catches and lots of different species reported.

The catch of the week was Liam and a 23lb Common Carp which he caught using a single maggot on Homersham’s (Old Lake). Photo attached.

We also had a match on Scroggins on Sunday when two anglers tied for first place with exactly the same weights - what are the chances of that?

The Crucians are starting to show on Scroggins and several were caught on Bank Holiday Monday. They were only small but in excellent condition so that bodes well for the future.

Good fishing…………….
